I found some applets that may be useful.
From here, scroll down to the "Java Applets for Visualization of Statistical Concepts" link and then click on "Basics" and then "Bivariate normal distribution". An applet will open that allows you to change the attributes of the distribution, including the degree of correlation between X and Y. We may return to this site later in the course, as it appears that there are lots of good visualization tools here.

That is pretty cool - it makes a big difference as opposed to seeing it on the white-board in 2D!
